专利摘要:
In a sliding door assembly (1) a sliding door panel (2) translates between open and closed positions supported by longitudinal guide organs (7) which are fixed to it and slidingly supported by first rotating organs (5) fixed to the vertical wall (4). It is kept in the vertical plane also by the action of further longitudinal guide organs (8) fixed to the panel (2), which slidingly engage coupling organs (9) fixed to the vertical wall (4). Rotations of the panel (2) around an axis perpendicular to the vertical wall (4) are substantially impeded thanks to a first flexible element (10) which runs from a first lower end (2a) of the panel (2) to a second upper end (2b) of the panel (2) diagonally opposed to the first (2a) being deflected by a first lower deflecting device (12) and by a first upper deflecting device (13) directly or indirectly fixed to the vertical wall (4), as well as thanks to a second flexible element (11) which runs from a second lower end (2c) of the panel (2) to a first upper end (2d) of the panel(2) diagonally opposed to the second (2c) being deflected by a second lower deflecting device (14) and by a second upper deflecting device (15) directly or indirectly fixed to the vertical wall (4).

[0002] SLIDING DOOR ASSEMBLY
[0004] Technique field
[0006] The present invention relates to a sliding door assembly.
[0008] Background of the technique
[0010] In general, sliding door assemblies comprise a sliding door panel, which is longitudinally guided to slide parallel to a vertical wall between its final opening and closing positions corresponding respectively to the maximum opening and maximum coverage of a provided door opening. on the vertical wall. Usually, the rotating members or support carriages are fixed (upper or lower) to the panel, then they are slidingly coupled on a sliding rail (upper or lower) and support the weight of the panel, as well as allow its movement. The guide members are usually present on the opposite side to that of the support carriages, a part of which is fixed to the wall or the floor while another part is fixed to the panel, said guide members keeping the panel in its own plane. vertical parallel to the vertical wall itself.
[0012] A drawback of this system is the need for a support and slide rail whose length is twice the width of the panel, to allow movement of the panel between the full open and closed positions. Therefore, a large space is necessary to install the rail, and in addition, when the panel is not hidden in a related drawer inserted in the wall, when the door is closed, the rail hanging on the wall above the panel is well visible.
[0014] Document EP 2646635 A1 describes a sliding door assembly in which a sliding rail is superiorly attached to the panel on a face of the panel itself that is facing the wall, the sliding rail resting on a pair of wheels that are attached to the wall. vertical above the door opening and on one side of the door. In addition, two support wheels are fixed at the ends of the lower edge of the panel, which help to the upper wheels to support the panel.
[0016] In this solution, being fixed to the panel, the upper rail remains hidden between the panel and the wall throughout the movement of the panel, and its length is equal to the length of the panel itself. However, the upper wheels that are fixed to the wall are located in a small space, and by themselves they could not properly support the panel without resting on the two wheels that are located at the lower ends of the panel. These support wheels are at least partially visible and slide or run on the ground during the opening-closing movement.
[0018] Description of the invention
[0020] The objective of the present invention is to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by providing a sliding door assembly in which the sliding, support and stabilization system does not require any system or guide or support element that touches the ground or that must move on it.
[0022] Another object of the present invention is to provide a sliding door assembly whose sliding, support and stabilization system remains constantly hidden between the panel and the wall.
[0024] These and other objectives, which will be more apparent in the following description, are achieved, in accordance with this invention, with a sliding door assembly having the structural and functional characteristics described in the independent claim appended herein, other embodiments being this described in the dependent claims.

[0042] Embodiments of the invention
[0044] With reference to the figures, reference numeral 1 indicates a sliding door assembly. The sliding door assembly 1 comprises a sliding door panel 2 that translates between open and closed positions which, respectively, correspond to the maximum discovery and maximum coverage of a door opening 3 provided in a vertical wall 4 (see in particular the figures 2a and 2b). The sliding door assembly 1 further comprises support and guide means provided to support and guide the sliding door panel 2 during a translation stage between the open and closed positions. Said support and guide means comprise in turn first rotating members 5 fixed (preferably stopped) to the vertical wall 4, outside the area defined by the opening of the door 3 near a lateral end thereof and at a first predetermined distance from the ground. 6. The support and guide means further comprise first longitudinal guide members 7 fixed to the door panel 2 in a position corresponding to said first predetermined distance from the ground 6 and supported in a sliding manner by the first rotatable members 5. The sliding door assembly 1 comprises other guide means that cooperate with the support and guide means to keep the door panel 2 in a predetermined plane parallel to the vertical wall 4. Said additional guide means in turn comprise second members of longitudinal guide 8 fixed to the door panel 2 parallel to the first longitudinal guide members 7, in a position corresponding to a second predetermined distance from the ground 6. Said additional guide means further comprise coupling members 9 fixed to the vertical wall 4 at a predetermined distance from the first rotating members 5 along a vertical line. Said coupling members 9 are slidingly engaged in the second longitudinal guide members 8. The first predetermined distance can be (as illustrated in the figures) greater than the height of the door opening 3, and the panel 2 can hang (through the first longitudinal guide members 7 attached to it) on the rotating members 5 (attached to the wall); the second predetermined distance may be substantially equal to the small distance that is necessary between the lower edge of the panel 2 and the floor 6 to allow movement of the panel 2 without rubbing against the floor 6 (as illustrated in the figures). It could also be the opposite: the first predetermined distance could be equal to the small distance that is necessary between the lower edge of panel 2 and the floor 6 to allow movement of panel 2 without rubbing against the floor 6 (with the first longitudinal guide means associated with a lower edge of panel 2 and supported by rotating members 5 which, even if they are fixed to the vertical wall, are in the vicinity of floor 6). Preferably, the situation is as illustrated in the figures.
[0046] The sliding door assembly 1 comprises stabilizing means cooperating with the support and guide means and with the additional guide means to stabilize the door panel 2 in said predetermined plane parallel to the vertical wall 4 substantially avoiding rotations of the door panel 2 about an axis perpendicular to said predetermined plane. The stabilizing means in turn comprise a first flexible element 10 having a first end 10a fixed to the door panel 2 near a first lower end 2a thereof and a second end 10b fixed to the door panel 2 near a second upper end 2b thereof diagonally opposite the first lower end 2a. The stabilizing means comprise a second flexible element 11 having a first end 11a fixed to the door panel 2 near a second lower end 2c thereof and a second end 11b fixed to the door panel 2 near a first upper end 2d thereof. diagonally opposite the second lower end 2c. The stabilizing means comprise a first lower diverter device 12 and a first upper diverter device 13 solidly connected to the vertical wall 4, one after the other along the path followed by the first flexible element 10 from the first lower end 2a to the second end. upper 2b of the door panel 2. The first lower deflection device 12 angularly deflects said path towards the first upper end 2d of the door panel 2 and the first upper deflection device 13 angularly deflects said path again towards the second upper end 2b of the door panel 2. The stabilizing means further comprise a second lower diverter device 14 and a second upper diverter device 15 solidly connected to the vertical wall 4, one after the other along the path followed by the second flexible element 11 from the second lower end 2c towards the first 2d upper end of the door panel ta 2. The second lower deflector device 14 angularly deflects said path towards the second upper end 2b of the door panel 2 and the second upper deflector device 15 angularly deflects said path again towards the first upper end 2d of the door panel 2.
[0048] Therefore, the first flexible element 10 and the second flexible element 11 (which can be cables, preferably metal cables) are located between the door panel 2 and the vertical wall 4 and cross behind the door panel 2. The interaction with the upper 13, 15 and lower 12, 14 diverting devices allows a restriction of the panel 2 to the vertical wall 4 and its stabilization against rotations in the vertical plane. During the movement of the door panel 2 along its translation direction, the flexible elements 10, 11 slide over the respective diverting devices 12, 13, 14, 15 and being fixed at the ends of the panel 2 while crossing allows the counterweight of rotations in the vertical plane. Thus, the door panel 2 can remain raised from the ground 6. The entire system is situated substantially between the door panel 2 and the vertical wall 4 and, furthermore, the door panel 2 moves in a stable and guided manner without any touch the ground 6 or rub against it. Advantageously, the sliding door assembly 1 further comprises a connection structure 16 that rigidly connects the first rotating members 5 to the coupling members 9 to form a frame structure 17 fixed to the vertical wall. Connection structure 16 can be used as a positioning template. The relative positioning of the connecting structure 16, the rotating members 5 and / or the coupling members 9 can be made adjustable. The relative positioning of the connection structure 16, the rotating members 5 and / or the coupling members 9 can be made at least preset during mounting on the vertical wall 4 in order to allow possible adjustments. The frame structure 17 comprises a first support structure 18 that supports the first rotary members 5 and a second support structure 19 that supports the coupling members 9. The connection structure 16 rigidly connects the first 18 and the second 19 connecting structures. support together. Preferably, the connection structure 16 comprises two parallel elongated elements 160a, 160b which are positioned in a plane parallel to the vertical wall 4 and which connect the first rotary members 5, or any related support structure 18, to the coupling members 9 (or any related support structure 19). In particular, what can be preset or adjusted is the relative positioning of said parallel elongated elements 160a, 160b with respect to the rotating members 5 (and / or the respective support structure 18) and / or with respect to the coupling members. 9 (and / or the respective support structure 19). See in particular a detail of figure 13, where the distance D can be adjusted / pre-adjusted by acting on the fixing screw by means of a suitable tool. The parallel elongated elements 160a, 160b can be used for the possible fixing (by means of a fixed joint or the like) of the dust protection brushes 300. The connection structure 16 (in particular the elongated elements parallel 160a, 160b) can be fixed to the vertical wall 4 (for example, by means of the corresponding fixing screws 301 and clamps 302. Always see figure 13).
[0050] In the sliding door assembly 1 according to the invention, at least the section of the first flexible element 10 from the first lower diverter device 12 to the first upper diverter device 13, and at least the section of the second flexible element 11 from the second lower diverter device 14 the first upper diverter device 15 are both housed in the space defined in combination by the vertical wall 4, the door panel 2 and the two parallel elongated elements 160a, 160b. In this way, also visible for example in figure 12, the entire system remains hidden between the vertical wall 4 and the door panel 2, in a space substantially equal to the thickness of the connection structure 16 optionally with the addition of brushes against the dust. 300. Therefore, looking sideways along the plane of the door panel 2, the flexible elements 10 and 11 are hidden by the connecting structure 16, in particular by the two parallel elongated elements 160a, 160b.
[0052] Conveniently, the first upper diverter device 13, the second upper diverter device 15, the first lower diverter device 12 and the second lower diverter device 14 are all located in the frame structure 17. In particular, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the first upper diverter device 13 and the second upper diverter device 15 are both located on the support structure 18 of the first rotating members 5, while the first lower diverter device 12 and the second lower diverter device 14 both are located on the support structure 19 of the coupling members. As described above, in an inverted condition with respect to this (which is also possible for the sliding door assembly 1) the first upper diverter device 13 and the second upper diverter device 15 could both be located on the support structure 19 of the coupling members 9, while the first lower diverter device 12 and the second lower diverter device 14 could both be located respectively on the support structure 18 of the first rotary members 5.
[0054] In general, the first 7 or the second 8 longitudinal guide members are attached to the door panel 2 near an upper edge 2f thereof to build related upper longitudinal guide members 20, the upper coupling members 22 being constructed by the first rotating members 5 or respectively the coupling members 9, thus being fixed to the vertical wall 4 in the upper part of the door opening 3 and slidingly engaged in the upper longitudinal guide members 20. The figures show the case in which the upper longitudinal guide members 20 are constructed by means of the first longitudinal guide members 7 and where the upper coupling members 22 are constructed by means of the first rotary members 5. The upper longitudinal guide members 20 are fixed to the door panel 2 near an upper edge 2f thereof. The upper coupling members 22 are fixed to the vertical wall 4 at a corresponding height, and on one side of the door opening 3.
[0056] Consequently, in general, respectively, the second 8 or the first 7 pulmonary guide members are fixed to the door panel 2 at a lower edge 2g thereof parallel to the upper longitudinal guide members 20 to realize the related lower longitudinal guide members 21, the lower coupling members 23 being respectively constructed by the coupling members 9 or the first rotating members 5, and thus being fixed to the vertical wall 4 at a predetermined distance from the upper coupling members 22 along a long vertical line from the upper coupling members 22 to the ground 6, said lower coupling members 23 being slidably coupled to the lower longitudinal guide members 21. The figures show the case in which the lower longitudinal guide members are constructed by means of the second longitudinal guide members 8 and where the lower coupling members 23 engage They are built by means of the coupling members 9. The lower longitudinal guide members are fixed to the door panel 2 at a lower edge 2g thereof. Preferably, the predetermined distance between the upper coupling members 22 and the lower coupling members 21 corresponds to a position of the latter, respectively, above the door opening 3 and at a distance from the ground 6 such that the door panel 2 be as close to the ground as possible 6 without touching or rubbing it. As shown in the figures, advantageously the upper longitudinal guide members 20 are contained within a profile of the door panel 2 (resulting in being hidden from view by the latter between the door panel 2 and the vertical wall 4). The upper longitudinal guide members 20 (for example, the first longitudinal guide members 7, as shown in the figures) comprise an upper guide rail 200 contained in a longitudinal groove 201 provided in the door panel 2 at its upper edge. 2f and facing the vertical wall 4.
[0057] The upper coupling members 22 (for example, the first rotating members 5, as shown in the figures) are located on a related support structure 18 that supports the first and second upper diverter devices 13 and 15. Each flexible element 10 , 11 extends from the respective first or second upper diverter device 13 or 15 to a respective end of the upper guide rail 200 and is attached thereto. Preferably, this is achieved by means of related clamps 303, more preferably the latter associated with an adjustment device for adjusting the tension of the flexible element 10, 11. The first and second upper diverter devices 13 and 15 each comprise a respective pulley. 130, 150 with horizontal axis. The pulley 130 of the first upper diverter device 13 and the pulley 150 of the second upper diverter device 15 follow one after another along the translation direction of the door panel 2 and are positioned in the same plane parallel to the vertical wall 4.
[0059] The lower longitudinal guide members 21 (for example, the second longitudinal guide members 8, as shown in the figures) comprise a lower guide rail 210 housed in a groove 211 provided in the thickness of the door panel 2 at its edge. lower 2g (see in particular figure 6). The lower coupling members 23 (for example, in the figures the coupling members 9) are coupled to the lower guide rail 210 from below and are located on a related support structure 19 that supports the first and second lower diverter devices 12 and 14. Each flexible element 10, 11 extends from the respective first lower diverter device 12 or the second lower diverter device 14 to a respective end of the lower guide rail 210 and is attached thereto. Preferably, this is obtained by means of related clamps 305, more preferably the latter are associated with an adjustment device for adjusting the tension of the flexible element 10, 11. The first and second lower diverter devices 12 and 14 each comprise:
[0061] - a respective horizontal pulley 120, 140 with a vertical axis, which picks up the respective flexible element 10, 11 and causes it to deflect backwards in the horizontal plane (see in particular the path of the flexible elements 10, 11 illustrated by broken lines in the figure 9); - a respective vertical pulley 121, 141 having a horizontal axis, which picks up the respective flexible element 10, 11 from the respective horizontal pulley 120, 140 and sends it to the corresponding upper diverter element 13, 15.
[0062] This arrangement of horizontal 120, 140 and vertical 121, 141 pulleys makes it possible to keep the flexible elements 10, 11 hidden from the outside view by the components of the lower guide rail 210 and, at the same time, allow the flexible elements 10, 11 themselves to move. bend and run in a plane parallel to that of the door panel 2 to reach the upper diverting devices 13, 15 correctly.
[0064] The horizontal pulleys 120, 140 of the first 12 and second 14 lower diverter device lie in the same horizontal plane perpendicular to the vertical wall 4 one after the other along the translation direction of the door panel 2. The vertical pulleys 121, 141 of the first 12 and second 14 lower diverter devices lie in the same vertical plane parallel to the vertical wall 4 one after the other along the translation direction of the door panel 2.
[0066] The upper coupling members 22 (for example, as shown in the figures, the first rotating members 5) comprise two upper wheels 50 one after the other along the translation direction of the door panel 2. The upper wheels 50 have horizontal axis. The lower coupling members 23 (for example, as shown in the figures, the coupling members 9) comprise two lower wheels 90 one after the other along the translation direction of the door panel 2. The two lower wheels 90 they have a vertical axis.
[0068] The invention provides important advantages.
[0070] In particular, there are no sliding parts or rotating parts that come into contact with the ground, the door panel remaining raised and stable thanks to the stabilization system.
[0072] In addition, the different elements of the displacement and stabilization system remain hidden between the sliding panel and the vertical wall.
[0074] Furthermore, even when looking at the system along the resting plane of the sliding door panel, the elements of the system are substantially hidden from view by a connecting structure that connects the rotating support members and the support members. coupling.
[0076] The described invention can be modified and adapted in various ways without thereby departing from the scope of the inventive concept.
[0078] Furthermore, all the details of the invention can be replaced by other technically equivalent elements.
[0080] In practice, embodiments of the invention can be made of any material and of any size, depending on requirements.
